For learners to be able to confidently and competently mentor, supervise, teach and support learners. Suited to early (1-2 years post-qualification) and mid-career healthcare multi-professionals (3-5 years post-qualification) including AHPs.
  1. Learning theories – constructivism, pedagogies discomfort.
  2. Evidence-based educational approaches
  3. Equity, diversity and belonging – supporting learners with diverse needs
  4. Supervision models (e.g. multi-learner models, anti-oppressive models) and skills for effective supervision
  5. Assessment and feedback – feedback models, hidden curricula, diagnostic, formative and summative assessment
  6. Supervision/training/mentorship/coaching
  7. Environments for learning - Universal design for learning
